Task

You will learn more about the 20th century by examining it decade by decade. Your group will consist of the following titles. For each decade you will choose two roles and carry out the job during that decade:

1. Commanding Officer: Your job as Commanding Officer is to keep the group in check. Make sure the group stays on task and completes the appropriate task for the day.


2. Travel Navigator: Your job as Travel Navigator is to be in charge of navigating through the virtual tour. Make sure that you are the one using the mouse on the computer to navigating through the appropriate websites and reading information on the website when needed.


3. Script Director: Your job as Script Director is to write the answers to the decade questions. Make sure that all history experts names are on the question sheet, make sure you are copying the correct answers to the questions, and make sure you are writing in your best handwriting. At some point EVERYONE is responsible for getting the answers on paper.



4. Artful Adventurer:Your job as the Artful Adventurer is to design the scrapbook page. Make sure you are the one using Microsoft PowerPoint, but listen to all of your history experts as they help you design the scrapbook page.

Your mission is to examine the decades of the twentieth century by taking a virtual tour through each decade. Your group of history exerts will be responsible for answering 10 questions about each decade on a question sheet, as well as designing a scrapbook page to represent what you have just learned about each decade, using Microsoft PowerPoint. You will be submitting these pages electronically to your teacher.
